The Coniston lantern is hand made in East Yorkshire, Great Britain.
Every aspect of producing the lantern is done by hand, so consumes a lot of time, patience, skill and care. Although very similar, no two lanterns are exactly identical as they are all hand-made, this is what is particularly loved about the product so much, is the fact that these lanterns are not mass produced in a factory.
The Coniston lantern composes of multi-coloured glass segments, which is very eye-catching when it dazzles, beautifully especially more so on an evening.
This lantern is rated IP43. IP stands for Ingress Protection, all outdoor lighting must be rated to specify its proficiency of preventing any rain entering the fixture. The lowest IP an outdoor light can have is IP23. The higher the IP number, the greater the protection.
