Hand crafted in Yorkshire and featuring traditional soldering techniques, this Lynmouth lantern is handmade of clear and amber leaded glass, with different textures of glass. This lantern embodies over seventy-years of skilled local craftsmanship.
Every aspect of producing the lantern is done by hand, so consumes a lot of time, patience, skill and care. Although very similar, no two lanterns are exactly identical as they are all hand-made, what is particularly loved about the product so much is the fact that these lanterns are not mass produced in a factory.
This lantern is rated IP43. IP stands for Ingress Protection, all outdoor lighting must be rated to specify its proficiency of preventing any rain entering the fixture. The lowest IP an outdoor light can have is IP23. The higher the IP number, the greater the protection.
